Age 75, of Dormont, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024, surrounded by family. Daughter of the late William H. “Boo” and Joyce C. Johnston. Beloved mother of Tracy Briglia (Ray Kingcaid), Christina Caragein, and James Briglia Jr. (Jennifer). Survived by the father of their children, James “Moose” Briglia Sr. Loving grandmother of Taylor, Peyton, Olivia, Garrett, Emalia, Matthew (Brittney and daughter Gabby) and Kasey. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sister of Lanny, Brian (Laura), Laurel, and the late William (surviving spouse Lynne) and Leanne Johnston.
Bonnie’s dedication to both her family and community is truly inspiring. Balancing raising three children, helping to run her family-owned businesses, and actively volunteering highlights her selfless nature and commitment to making a positive impact in her community. Her involvement with the Dormont Boosters, Keystone Oaks School activities, and Girl Scout Cookie drives showcases her willingness to contribute and support various organizations, ultimately making a difference in the lives of others.
Bonnie was very passionate about her involvement in the Dormont Democratic Committee, which led to her running for the school board and the State Committee. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time at the casino, and you could often find her at any Texas Hold’em table. Bonnie
was a longtime Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune fan. In her younger years, she even received an invitation to try out on the show Jeopardy.
Family and friends welcome Saturday, March 23rd, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, 15216. Interment will be private to the family.
